Russell J. Pobst Sr.

POBST, Russell J. Sr., age 83, of Kettering passed away Monday, September 29, 2003 at Hospice of Dayton. Russell was a member of Sugarcreek Presbyterian Church. He served with the United States Army during WWII in India and Burma. Russell retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base as an Electrical Engineer. Preceded in death by his wife, Betty in 1986. Survived by his son, Rusty Pobst of Kettering; daughter, Nancy Bany of IL; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and sister, Janet Tyler of FL. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 3, 2003 at 11:30 AM at David’s Cemetery, with Rev. Julie Wharff officiating.
