Ruth C Kuntz

KUNTZ, Ruth C. 79, of Kettering passed away Sunday Dec. 2, 2007. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 16, 1928 to the late Aloys & Matilda Moorman. She was a long time member of Ascension Catholic Church and in her younger days she enjoyed gardening & taking care of her family. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, her husband of 44 years Thomas B. Kuntz Sr., two sisters Mary Dunlevy & Lillian Tangeman, and a brother Donald Moorman. Survivors include her 4 children Thomas (Robin) Kuntz Jr., Edward Kuntz, Ruthanne (Michael) Hecht, David Kuntz, and her 4 grandchildren Natalie & Todd Kuntz and Jessica & Sara Hecht. She is also survived by her sister Anna Mae (Charles) Lofino and by two sisters-in-law Janet Moorman and Mary Lou Austin and a brother-in-law Gene Austin, Sr. Ruth’s family will greet friends at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering on Wednesday, from 5:00-8:00 PM. Family & friends may also call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30AM until 10:00AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30AM at Ascension Catholic Church, 2025 Woodman Drive, with Father Chris Worland officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ruth's name to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45420.
