Ruth M. Graumann

GRAUMANN, Ruth M., age 92, of Dayton, OH, formerly of Cape May Court House, NJ for 52 years, passed away on Thursday, April 28th, 2016. Ruth was born to the late Robert M. and Florence R. Dare in Wildwood, NJ on December 13, 1923. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 72 years, William S. Graumann, and her two brothers Robert M. Dare, Jr. and James A. Dare. She graduated from Wildwood H.S. in 1942 and went on to graduate from Rider Business School. Ruth was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Stone Harbor, NJ. She had a love of birds, the sea shore, walking, cooking, and caring for her family. Ruth enjoyed volunteering at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital in Cape May Court House, NJ. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Barbara R. Columbus of OH and Nancy G. (Harry) Daugherty of FL; son, Thomas W. Graumann of FL; 3 granddaughters; 2 grandsons; 1 great-granddaughter and 4 great-grandsons. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National Audubon Society. Services will be held 1 PM Saturday, May 28, 2016 at David's Cemetery in Kettering, OH.
