Ruth Mccarty

MCCARTY, Ruth, age 85, of Kettering, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015. Ruth was born to the late Sampson and Nancy (nee Daniel) Fitch on August 7, 1929 in New Boston, OH and raised in Paintsville, KY. She enjoyed spending her time painting, cross stitching, crocheting, quilting, reading and tending to her dogs. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Willis McCarty. She is survived by her children, Anita (Wayman) Bond of Michigan and Philip (Susan) McCarty of Waynesville; grandchildren, Amy and Heather Bond and Emily (Michael) Lombardi and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Kathleen, and Brendan. Family will greet friends from 2:00-4:00pm on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH with a funeral service at 4:00pm. A committal service will be held at Miami Valley Memory Gardens on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 10:00am. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Quaker Heights Care Community for all the wonderful care they gave Ruth.
