DIEHL, Sally Patten, age 80, of Centerville passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2011.
She is preceded in death by her parents Roger and Ann (Detrick) Patten, and sister Jane (Patten) Hoeland.
She was a graduate of Walnut Hills High School, attended Western College for Women in Oxford, OH and received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
Sally leaves behind her family; her husband of 56 years, James Harrison Diehl; daughters, Deborah (Joseph) Romanczuk of Carmel, IN; Jamie Diehl of Phoenix, AZ; Katherine (Robert) Crawford of Dayton, OH; son, Thomas (Donna Lutz) Diehl of Springboro, OH; grandchildren, Andrea (Adam) Hickman, Megan (Jeremy) Fanning, Bobby and Patrick Crawford, Thomas and Elizabeth Romanczuk, Jack, Jordan, and Jimmy Diehl; as well as her dear friends from Sycamore Creek Country Club.
The family will greet friends from 4:00-5:30PM on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. Memorial service will be held at 5:30PM also at the funeral home.
