Sandra Jean Spees

SPEES, Sandra Jean, (Sandy) born June 17, 1941, passed away at the age of 65, November 14, 2006 after a brief illness with cancer. Sandy was a member of the Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Aleda Spees. Sandy gave her life to teaching art in the Dayton Public Schools. Since retirement from teaching, she became a master gardener. She touched many lives in her community with the landscape beauty she brought to them. Her landscape designs will be enjoyed by many for a long time. Sandy will be greatly missed by her close friends and co-workers who became her family. Family will receive friends from 12-1:00 PM, Monday, November 20, 2006 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with Rev. Kevin Wentworth officiating. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial in David’s Cemetery.
