Sandra L Maxey Rose

ROSE, Sandra (nee Maxey), age 49 of Oakwood, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2010 surrounded by her family at home. Sandy graduated from Oakwood High School in 1979, she received her bachelor�s degree from Hillsdale College in Michigan in 1983 and did graduate work at Michigan State. She was a member of Chi Omega sorority and the Noble Circle Project. Most importantly, Sandy was a devoted and loving mother to her son William. She was sweet and generous, with an infectious laugh, she had a love of cats, travel, antiques and needlepoint. Preceded in death by her brother, Butch and her father, William Maxey. Sandy is survived by her son, William; mother, Christine; sister, Sue Story and her husband Bill Gaiser; nephew Ben Story and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Tarek Sabagh and staff for all their loving care of Sandy. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 22, 2010 from 4-8:00pm at the Routsong Funeral Home 2100 East Stroop Rd at Woodman in Kettering. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 23 at 10:00 at St. Albert the Great Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave., Kettering, OH 45429 . Burial will be at Benson Benson cemetery, Frenchburg, Kentucky.
