Sara Jean Maxwell

MAXWELL, Sara J., age 83, of Centerville, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton. Sara was born in Greenville, SC and raised in Lowell, NC where she graduated from high school at age 15. She was also a graduate of Lee's Macrae College. Sara was a long time member of the Oak Creek United Church of Christ. Sara also worked as a Medical Records Administrator. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rowe W. Maxwell, Sr.; sons Wesley D. and Evan B. Maxwell; parents James and Bertie Barr; four sisters and one brother. Sara is survived by her children, Rowe (Teresa) W. Maxwell Jr., Claudette (Lance) Maxwell-Kepple; 10 grandchildren; two great grandsons; one sister and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Oak Creek United Church of Christ, 5280 Bigger Rd., Kettering. Burial will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens at 1:00pm.
