Sara M Boykin

BOYKIN, Sara M., age 93 of Floyds Knobs, IN, formerly of Centerville, OH passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010. Sara's memberships include: being an active Girl Scout leader, member of Westminister Presbyterian choir, the Dayton Women's Club, the Women's Officers Club, the Brush and Pallet Art Group, and a docent at the Dayton Art Institute. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, a member of the Worship committee in charge of decorations, and TWIG 15 of Dayton Children's Hospital. Sara was a former board member of Dayton Children's Hospital, a Life member of the Centerville Garden Club, Charter member of the Underbidders Bridge Club, and member of Dayton Junior Alumni club. Sara was preceded in death by her husband James A. Boykin. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Barbara & Kenneth Peikert of Floyds Knobs, IN; 2 grandchildren Michelle Sara Peikert and Timothy Lane Peikert; and a cousin Mrs. Frances Wells of Tucson, AZ. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00PM on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, April 30, 2010 also at Routsong Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Mausoleum at David's Cemetery.
