SILVERMAN, Scott, age 48, of Kettering passed away, Tuesday, July 25, 2006. He was a graduate of Hope High School in Providence RI and was a Physical Therapist and owner of Physio Therapeutics Inc. He was a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and its Private Practice Section. Scott volunteered for his children’s sports activities and was a devoted member of the Indian Guides and Indian Princesses for all of his children. He loved to play basketball and softball. Scott was an All- American in hammer throwing in high school and loved to watch his children during their sporting and school activities. He loved the beach, the ocean, cookouts, clambakes and picnics. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Elaine Silverman and sister, Hershelle Silverman. He is survived by his wife of almost 23 years, Nancy Silverman; children, Jonathan Edward, Gregory Michael, Jenna Elizabeth and Matthew Louis Silverman; brothers, Mark (Mary ) Silverman of CT, Paul (Lori) Silverman of MA and Alan (Mary) Silverman also of MA; and a host of other loving family members. Family will receive friends Friday, July 28, 2006 from 5-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Private graveside services and burial will be in Rhode Island. In memory of Scott, contributions may be made to the South Community YMCA Adventure Guides and Princesses, 4545 Marshall Rd., Kettering, OH 45429.
