Sheila Jones

JONES, Sheila Kay Minser (nee Wymer) age 55, of Kettering passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2006. Sheila was a 1969 graduate of Belmont High School. She was a career fire dispatcher for the city of Kettering. Sheila retired from the City of Bellbrook as a Lt. volunteer Firefighter/EMT. Sheila enjoyed collecting candles, gardening and spending time with her loving family and beloved pets. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles “Tom” Wymer. Sheila is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Jeffrey M. Jones; sons, Jason (Robin Ewing) Minser and Brian (Audrey) Minser and grandson, Travis all of Kettering; parents, Rita (Paul) Stewart of Riverside; sister, Jill (Whitney) Martin of Riverside; grandmother, Marie Larsen of Chicago; step-son, Jared Jones of Kettering; step-daughter, Erica Jones of Miamisburg; dear friend, Denise Harner; and many extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Dr. Brooks Heck officiating. Burial at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
