Shirley Ann Schimer

SCHIMER, Shirley Ann, age 72 of Centerville passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. Shirley was a graduate of Fairmont High School in 1953 and member of the flag corp. She was an avid sports fan and bowler. Shirley was a beloved and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. and Anna Butler. Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, John F. "Jack" Schimer; sons, Jeffery A. (Terri) Schimer of Beavercreek, Gerald F. (Cynthia) Schimer of Kettering and Michael E. (Heather) Schimer of Covington, KY; grandchildren, Jessica (Andrew) Gibson, Benjamin, Aaron, Margaret and Gabriel Schimer; sister, Patricia Earls of Redlands, CA and several nieces and nephews. No services or visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420, whose staff were wonderful in their care and support of Jack and his family in the last days of her life.
