Shirley Y Coe

COE, Shirley Y., age 79, of Centerville passed away Sunday, August 21, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. Shirley was a graduate of Centralia High School (Zane Trace) in Ross County, OH. She served as a Deacon for Southminster Presbyterian Church, and had worked for Mead Corporation as a Lab Technician in Chillicothe, OH. Shirley was a volunteer at Bethany Lutheran Gift Shop, and a volunteer tutor at C.L. Stingley Elementary School in Centerville, OH. She was a long time member of TOPS, an avid bowler, and enjoyed needlepoint. Her parents, Arthur and Marie Francis Bennett; and sister, Patricia Kirkwood preceded her in death. Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Jay G. Coe; daughter, Linda Coe of Kettering; son, Michael Coe and wife Julie of Portland, OR; sisters, Jackie Kerns of Chillicothe, OH and Judith Evans of Ocala, FL. Memorial services will be held Friday, August 26, 2005 in Centerville at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with Rev. Malcolm White officiating. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A short memorial service will be held immediately following.
