Stanley C. Wells

WELLS, Stanley C. "Chan", age 76, of Sandy, Utah passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013. Stanley was born on June 13, 1937 in Rochester, NY to the late Stanley and Anne Wells. He was a 1955 graduate of Brighton High School in Rochester, New York and Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he was a member of Theta Chi fraternity. Stanley retired from Becton Dickinson as an engineer and has numerous patents for products he assisted in developing. He was a member of the Society of Plastic Engineers. Stanley joins in heaven his son, Scott Wells and daughter, Kim Wells Coggin. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Geraldine; daughter, Kelly (Bill) Conger of Centerville, Ohio; grandchildren, Scott Coggin and Ryan and Evan Conger; and sister-in-law, Patricia Regan. Stanley will be remembered for his intelligence and quiet demeanor coupled with an incredible sense of humor. Family will greet friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main Street, Centerville. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 also at the funeral home. Donations in Stanley's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Road, Cincinnati, OH 45206 or to any charity of your choice. Burial will follow at Centerville Cemetery.
