Stanley Richard Olszewski

On November 8, 1940 Stanley Richard Olszewski was born to Stanley and Irene Olszewski. He was their third child of five and their first son. On November 8, 2023 Stanley Richard Olszewski passed away peacefully in his sleep. Stanley was married to Molly L. Loose for 60 years until her death in 2020. Together they raised 4 children: Barbara Zepernick (Richard), Richard Olszewski, Diane Affourtit (Michael), and Todd Olszewski. Stanley was a good husband, brother, friend and a caring father. He was a salt of the earth man. His children are blessed to hold many precious childhood memories of his shenanigans: Christmas shopping at the Rike’s Tikes shop was never complete until we rode the elevator and upon exiting pushed every button making a mad dash for the doors before ‘they’ came after us, trips to the Englewood Dam with his beloved dog, Reuben, camping in the backyard always

ended with us making a night trip to Dunkin’ Donuts. He would dance with us to Christmas music or the Beatles, and above all he was always available to help us in whatever way he could.

He leaves behind his above-mentioned children, 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; his sister, Donna Boldrick; sister, Carol Campbell (Bill); youngest sister, Linda Stephens (Greg); and brother, Chuck Olszewski (Kathy), as well as numerous nieces and nephews, brother and sisters-in-laws, and the best golfing buddies a golf junkie could ask for.

Visitation will be held at David’s Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel from 10:00 -

11:00 AM, Monday, November 20. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00AM. Burial will be at David’s Cemetery following the memorial service. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be made at www.routsong.com.
