age 45, of Springboro, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2004. Kip was a 1977 graduate of Fairmont East High School. He worked in customer support for LexisNexis for ten years. Prior to that Kip was a regional manager for B.P. Oil. Kip was a gifted drummer who did sound and lights for “The Pulse” a local band that played in the 1970’s and early 1980’s. Preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Lucy Sturgill and numerous other family members. Survived by his wife of three years, Suzanne; son, Ian; step-daughters, Brigette and Ingrid Gardner; brother, John Michael Sturgill; cousins, Sean and Stephanie. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St. with Pastor John Pickering officiating. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 40 S. Perry St. Ste. 120 Dayton, OH 45402-1429 or Cancer Prevention Institute “Hipple Cancer Research Center”, 4100 S. Kettering Blvd. Dayton, OH 45439-2092.
