CULP, Stephen Ray, age 53, of Beavercreek passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at the Miami Valley Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Steve was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps (1971-1977) and was honorably discharged as a corporal. He was a member of the Moose Lodge # 73 and attended Aley Church. Steve held several management positions within the international and domestic export and expediting industries. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Kim; parents, Rev. Raymond and Alma Culp; children, Michelle Mears, Joseph Correll, Ian Culp; step-children, Josh and Jessica Wildermuth; sisters, Marleeta (Randy) Woods, Carlene (George) Boldizar; niece, Angelita and nephew, Brad; special friends Rommond McDonald and Greg Maggard. Steve’s family will receive friends on Monday, November 26, 2007 from 5-8:00PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Matt Scholl officiating. Military burial will be at Dayton National Cemetery following the funeral. In celebration of his life, a gathering will follow at the Moose Lodge, 1134 Richfield Center, Beavercreek.
