GODSEY, Sueann D., age 56, of Washington Township passed away Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on January 8, 1952 to Lawrence L. and Rosalinda (Artkamp) Dapore of Fairborn, OH. Sueann was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, James M. McCrate, and sister-in-law, Ann Bane Dapore. Sueann is survived by her beloved daughter, Cara Suzanne Godsey of Cincinnati, OH and Cara's father, James L. Godsey, Jr. of Oakwood, OH. She is also survived by siblings and spouses: Donald W. Dapore of Centerville, OH, Mary Eleanor McCrate of Westerville, OH, Judith L. (Jack) Gayheart of Beavercreek, OH, Thomas L. (Marsha) Dapore of Centerville, OH and Frank P. (Suzanne) Dapore of Fairborn, OH, twenty nephews and nieces and seventeen great-nephews and nieces. Sueann loved them all and was much loved in return. She was a 1970 graduate of Fairborn High School and graduated in 1974 from Miami University in Oxford, OH. Sueann was the owner and president of Title Pointe Agency until her retirement in 2005. After retirement she worked for Hallmark Title Agency in Fairborn, OH. Sueann gave back to her profession by being a faithful member of Miami Valley Land Title Association where she served as Secretary and served on the Board of Directors. She was a member of the Ohio Land Title Association. Sueann was an affiliate member of the Dayton Mortgage Bankers Association where she served as Secretary and served on the Board of Directors. Sueann was an Affiliate/Associate of the Dayton Area Board of Realtors. She was a beautiful, brilliant and extremely talented lady with a gift for decorating, entertaining and making everyone feel special. Sueann will be greatly missed. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville, OH on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 10 AM. The family will receive friends 5 to 9 PM, Wednesday at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St. in Centerville, OH. In Sueann's memory, donations may be made to ovarian cancer research: NOCC Greater Dayton Chapter, 5913 Hollyhill Court, Dayton, OH 45449; to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45420 or to the charity of one's choice. The family would like to give a special thanks to her friends and sisters of the Noble Circle Project.
