Susan Elaine Rieger

RIEGER, Susan, age 74, of Waynesville, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015. She was born March 21, 1941 to the late Warren and Sigrid Anderson in Chicago, IL. Susan loved gardening and vacationing with her loving husband of 47 years, Rick. They traveled to Michigan, California, Europe, and the Caribbean site seeing, Susan patiently waiting while Rick would do photography. Susan also volunteered her time with Inniswood Metro Park, contributing many hours to enhance the beauty of this park in the Columbus, Ohio area. Before marriage and raising a family, Susan worked in the retail area, culminating in a department manager job at Saks Fifth Avenue in Troy Michigan. Susan is preceded in death by her in-laws, along with her parents. She is survived by her husband, Rick; children, Matt (Jennifer) Rieger, and Beth (John) Armstrong; and her grandchildren, Megan, Lauren, Luke, Faith, and Ruth. A visitation will be held from 10:00am to noon on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, OH, with a funeral service following. Burial will take place at David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 1130 W. Peachtree St., Suite 1000, Atlanta, GA 30309.
