Teddy Warren Rasor

RASOR, Teddy Warren, "Ted", age 85 of Dayton, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2011. Ted proudly served in the Army Air Corp and worked as Firefighter for the City of Dayton. He was a long standing member of Holy Angels Church where he served as an usher, and was a member of VFW #9927 and the Ancient Order of Hibernian of Dayton. Ted was a devoted family man who adored his grandchildren. He was very generous and caring and supported many organizations, including SICSA, Soaring Eagles and the World Wildlife Fund. He had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed playing the organ. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mildred Rasor; brothers, Virgil and Carroll Rasor; sisters, Vivian Olsen and Darlene Fund; and great-granddaughter, Ellarose Rowell. Ted is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Alice Rasor; daughter, Evelyn (Jim) Kelley; grandchildren, Emily Kelley and John Kelley; great-grandchild, David James Rowell; brother, Bill (Pat) Rasor and his very special friend, Hilda Reger. Family will greet friends on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 5:00-8:00pm at ROTUSONG FUNERAL HOME, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:00am at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 1322 Brown St., Dayton, OH with Father Dan Meyer officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. The family extends a special Thank You to all the caregivers at Kettering Medical Center.
