BLIZZARD, Thomas Edward, age 70, of Riverside, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013. He was born to the late Elwood and Murl Ann Blizzard on October 21, 1942 in Parsons, WV.
Thomas had a strong faith in God. He worked as a Police Officer for the Beavercreek and Trotwood forces. Thomas also worked at Good Samaritan Hospital as Director of security, Miami Valley Hospital in security and as the D.J. "Tommy Lee" for a rock station. He had a great Love for music, cars and sports.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dorothy and her husband Guy Owens; niece Brittani Lynn Leonard, and "Sammy" his other four legged buddy for 16 years. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Ann; son, Brian (Courtney) Eaglin; and grandchildren, Barrett and Bane Eaglin. Thomas is also survived by favorite Sister-in-Law, Susan Eastridge and her children, LaNora Leonard & James Leonard and "Dink" his little four-legged buddy for the last 13 years. His greatest joy & love in life was spending time with his family, especially his two little grandsons. Heaven has received another angel!
Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, with a visitation to follow until 7:00pm.
In memory of Thomas, donations may be made out to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420. The family would like to give their deepest gratitude to Hospice of Dayton for the wonderful care they gave to Thomas.
