Thomas Ray Angel

ANGEL, Thomas Ray, age 64, of Kettering, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Thomas was born on January 30, 1951 in Lexington, KY to the late Alvis and Elizabeth Angel. He worked for Miami Township Police Department for 18 years until he retired as a Police Chief in 1996. Thomas' world revolved around his family, especially his grandchildren. Some of his passions were politics, cold drinks by the beach, spontaneous road trips, old cars, great food, and watching his Ohio State Buckeyes. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, June Angel. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; children, Lindsey Dulaney, Sara Dulaney, and Eric Dulaney; grandchildren, Logan Sargent and Dulaney Sargent; sisters, Jean Hawkes, Carolyn (Michael) Ling, and Debi (Chuck) Esposito; and several nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 also at the funeral home. Burial in David's Cemetery.
