CALDWELL, Thomas S., age 86, of Dayton passed away on November 20, 2005. Tom retired from Delco after 40 years of service with General Motors. He received a Bronze Star for his meritorious services in the Army Air Corp while stationed in Guam during WWII. Tom was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, the Society of Professional Engineers, the Dayton Engineers Club, Bucyrus Lodge #139 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Antioch Shrine AAONMS of Dayton, Dayton High Twelve Club #69 and the Crawford County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society, Inc. His death was preceded by his wife, Eloise Caldwell and sister, Betty Kocher. Tom is survived by sons, George (Susan) Caldwell of Illinois, and Don (Leslie) Caldwell of Texas; granddaughters, Julia & Gwen Caldwell both of Colorado; grandson, Geoffrey Caldwell of Illinois; and niece, Connie Sunday of Texas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, at 10:00 AM, November 26, 2005 at the Routsong Funeral Home 81 N. Main St., Centerville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 6:00 pm. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery in Bucyrus, OH. In memory of Tom, contributions may be made to the Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
