Tillie R. Calhoun

age 79, of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2001. She was a 1943 graduate of North Dakota State University, with a B.S. in Home Economics. Tillie retired as Office Manager for Buckeye Trails Girl Scout Council where she was employed for 33 years. She was a member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church where she served on Board of Trustees, past president of College Woman's Club, past chairman of Dayton Area Administrative Management Society and area director of National AMS. Preceded in death by her parents, Emil L. and Ingaborg L. (Langerrud) Ruud; and brother, Leif O. Ruud. Survived by her husband of 58 years, John R. Calhoun; sister-in-law, Fanny Ruud of Monrovia CA; 2 nephews, Warren Rudd and his wife and children, Nancy, Eric and Neil of Santa Rosa CA and John E. Ruud and his wife and children, Marleen, Geoffrey, Scott and Alyssa of Huntington Beach CA. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, in Fairmont Presbyterian Church, 3705 Far Hills Ave., Kettering, with Dr. Robert H. Wade officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Fairmont Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund. The family is being served by Routsong Funeral Home.
