HOLIGA, Timothy A. Tim, age 62, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle was called home September 9, 2017 while riding his motorcycle. Tim never met a stranger. He was born March 4, 1955 in Dayton, OH. A graduate of Fairmont East High School and Sinclair Community College, he lived an adventurous life. After Sinclair, Tim worked as a tool salesman and was known to many as Tim the Toolman. In later years he was able to spend time of always looking for an adventure or new project.
His passions included golfing, fishing, music, and garage-sale hunting and collecting. He was a brother of the masons and active in the following Masonic organizations; Beavercreek Lodge 753 F&AM, New Carlisle Chapter 57 RAM, New Carlisle Council 143 R&SM, 3rd Arch Adjutant GCRSM, Nathaniel Greene Commandery 81 KT, Millennium Council 382 AMD, AASR Valley of Dayton, Solomons 7 Widows Sons, and his true passion was his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his father, Ludomil Holiga and dear friend, Everett Recher. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Stumpff-Holiga; sons, Justin Holiga (Denise), and Christopher Holiga (Jessica), and daughter, Laura Holiga. Granddaughters, Emma Holiga, Abigail Holiga, and Stella Holiga and a grandson to arrive in December. In addition mother, Aryetta Holiga; sister Carol Markland (Butch); brothers Bud Holiga (Kim), Tony Holiga, and David Holiga (Annette); nieces and nephews Theresa Markland, Carrie Jaster (Lance), Lisa Holiga, Andrew Berger, Tayler Holiga, Griffin Holiga, Joey Holiga, Lily Holiga, Cyndey Jaster, and Cammie Jaster. In addition numerous cousins and friends survive him.
Family will greet friends from 3:00-8:00pm on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E Stroop Rd, Dayton, OH 45429 with Masonic Services starting at 3:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at St Mary of the Assumption Parish, 9579 Yankee Rd, Springboro, OH 45066. Burial in Woodland Cemetery following services. Reception to be held after at his brother, Buds.
