age 57 of Dayton passed away, Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at Hospice of Dayton. Tim was a 1964 graduate of Belmont High School and attended Wright State University for three years. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War. For the last 27 years Tim worked for the City of Dayton in various capacities. He started as a clerk in the civil service office, then as a clerk in the fleet management division. Tim was also a fire fighter at the Dayton International Airport, a waste water lift station operator, a waste water treatment plant operator, a supervisor for water pumping, then was a water treatment plant operator and most recently was a sewer lift station mechanic. He was a former member of the East Dayton Optimist club and was an avid lover of classical music . Tim learned late in life to play the flute and enjoyed it very much. Preceded in death by his father, Charles Michaels and brother, Gregory Charles Michaels. Survived by his wife and companion of 17 years, Caroline Shircliff; brothers, Christopher Michaels, Dean and wife, Rose Michaels; sister, Marya Sulfridge, mother, Gloria Michaels; step sons, Jeff and wife Faye Kleman, Kevin Kleman; 4 nieces and 2 nephews and step grandchildren Sarah and Jeffery Kleman. A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Friday, April 18, 2003 from 6-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
