Timothy "Tim" Scott Walton

WALTON, Timothy Scott (Tim), August 21, 1958 - August 27, 2023. Surrounded by his family and close friends, Timothy Scott Walton ended his courageous battle with cancer on Sunday evening, August 27, 2023.  He was born in Middletown, Ohio on August 21,1958, to Kenneth and Helen Walton.  

Mr. Walton was a 1976 graduate of Middletown High School and Owner of TW Golf in Kettering. 

Timmy's love and passion for the game brought joy to many in the Miami Valley as a leader in the field of instruction. A 37-year PGA Member, he shared his knowledge, wisdom and skill at many clubs throughout the area including NCR Country Club, Pin High Driving Range, Community Golf Course, Rollandia Golf Center and most recently as Assistant Golf Professional at Walnut Grove Country Club.  Tim was an incredibly accomplished and competitive player, competing in the 2010 and 2011 Senior US Open, in addition he played in 9 PGA National Club Pro Championships while always remaining a gentleman and friend to all he met on the course.  

But what brought Tim the most happiness was time spent with his devoted son Ian Walton, daughter-in-law Ashlee and precious Granddaughter Olivia that all survive him.  His last round of golf was on his birthday with Ian, a memory to be treasured forever. 

Mr. Walton is also survived by his sister Christina Walton, brother Randy Walton and nieces Erin Constantine and Stacy Baltzell. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, along with his sister and brother-in-law, Candice and Joe Baltzell. 

As per Tim's wishes, A Celebration of Life will be held on October 14, 2023, from 5pm-8pm at Walnut Grove Country Club.
