BOUSLOG, Timothy Wayne, age 67, of Huber Heights, entered into the presence of the Lord on Thursday, September 12, 2013, at The Ohio State University's Ross Heart Hospital, with his wife of 21 years, Nancy Elaine (nee Shoop) Bouslog, by his side.
Tim will be lovingly remembered by his wife, his stepchildren Mary (Bryan) Mangum, Randy (Angie) Bolin and Michael (Amber) Bolin and their families; his siblings Sherrie (Mike) Ries, David (Jolene) Bouslog and Beverly Azzara and their families; his sister-in-law Patty (Hobert) Kendrick, his niece Jennah (Donny) Sieg and their families; his father-in-law Harry V. Shoop, and numerous other family and friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Valta Louise (nee Pier) and Wesley Wayne (Don Wayne) Bouslog, along with other family members and close friends.
Tim was born September 4, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio. He spent his childhood in the Belmont and Centerville areas; served a combined eight years of active duty in both the United States Marine Corps and the United States Air Force, including a tour of duty in Vietnam; graduated from the University of Dayton with Bachelor's of Arts degrees in Psychology and History, as well as a Certification in Theology; and had a 20-year federal civilian service career at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
Tim counted among his life's many blessings his relationship with Jesus Christ, the love and devotion of his wife throughout their nearly 22-year marriage, the fulfilling journey of watching his family grow and thrive, and his close relationship with his sister, Sherrie.
He was an accomplished writer, a lover of music, pets and movies, a voracious reader and philosophical thinker. He will be greatly missed by all whose life he touched.
Tim's family would like to express special thanks to all those who have lifted his spirit in prayer and to the many medical professionals who have been instruments of God's miracles through the years. Services will be held at Routsong Funeral Home (www.routsong.com) in Kettering, Ohio, at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 17, 2013, with burial immediately following at Medway Cemetery.
