Vernon L. Allen

age 68 of Lady Lake, Florida, formerly of Centerville, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001 in Ocala, Florida. He retired as Plant Engineer for Chrysler Corp. after 20 years and was an avid golfer. Vernon was a member of Centerville United Methodist Church, former member of Rock Moriah Masonic Lodge in Centerville and active with the Villages Old Fellows Golf Club. Survived by his wife of 45 years, Janet; a daughter, Jennifer Bath of Cincinnati; a son, Jay E. Allen of Springfield, a brother, Ron Allen of Sarasota Fl; and 2 granddaughters, Katie and Jessica. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, Ohio. Burial in Centerville Cemetery.
