Verrill O. Gardiner

GARDINER, Verrill O. age 90, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2008 in Dayton, OH. Verrill was preceded in death by his parents; Emmett & Laura May Gardiner, his wife Margaret in Feb of 2004, sister & brother-in-law; Charles & Valerie Tinsley, brothers; Neville, Lazerne & Emerson and grandson; Bradford L. Gardiner, Jr. Verrill graduated from Stivers High School, a member of the Stivers Alumni and retired from WPAFB after 40 years service in the Laser Research Lab. Verrill was a Veteran of WW II serving with the US Army as SGM. He was past master and member of Miamisburg Lodge F & AM # 98, Royal Arch Masons Trinity Chapter # 44. Verrill is survived by two sons; Verrill (Vicki) Gardiner and Bradford (Karen) Gardiner both of Centerville, OH, three grandchildren; Steve (Laura) Gardiner, Stephanie (Ben) Houk, and Brittany (Austin) Johnson, three great grandchildren; Perry Gardiner, Americas Gardiner and Josephine Johnson, sister-in-law; Mary Gardiner of Clayton, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main Street, Centerville, OH. Burial will follow in Miami Cemetery in Waynesville, OH. The family will receive friends 5 to 8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home where Masonic Services will be held at 7:30 PM.
