Vicki Ann Humphrey

HUMPHREY, Vicki Ann, age 79, of Huber Heights, was set free Thursday, November 3, 2022. She was born October 16, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents, George Craighead, Bertha and Corky Cornelius; and sister, Dixie (Bill) Courtney. Vicki is survived by her daughters, April Plummer and Robin Phillips; grandchildren, Victoria (Kevin) Brock, Katherine “Katie” Phillips, and JC Plummer; great-grandchildren, Emma Lynn and Hudson; best friend, Susie (Dale) Reed, and numerous family members and friends. Vicki loved flowers, especially lilies as well as shopping. What Vicki enjoyed the most was spending time with her grandson, JC. They shared a special bond and understood each other. She had a strong faith in God and cherished her bible. Vicki will be dearly missed by her family. Per Vicki’s wishes, instead of a memorial service Vicki requested you give someone a flower or spread a kind word of love and positivity. Anyone who knew Vicki, understood her struggle in life but her faith in God and love of others empowered her to move forward. “All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last.” If you or someone you love is struggling with mental illness, please reach out, you are not alone.
