Victor J. Cassano, Jr.

CASSANO, Victor Joseph Jr., age 65, of Centerville, went to be with his heavenly father on May 28, 2010. He was born on March 19, 1945, to Anne and Pizza King founder, Victor J. Cassano, Sr.. Vic Jr. was owner and CEO of Cassano's Pizza & Subs restaurants. He was a very generous man who gave a lot of his time and resources to many people and organizations throughout Dayton and the surrounding communities. Vic Jr. is survived by his wife and childhood sweetheart, Sharon (nee Pennington); children, Lora (Steve) Hammons, Vic III "Chip" Cassano, Chris (Staci) Cassano; 5 beautiful granddaughters, Allie and Kirsten Hammons, Carlee, Maggie and Lucy Cassano; sisters Mary Anne, Cindy and numerous friends and family members. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2010 from 4-7 PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 10:30AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The American Red Cross of Greater Dayton, 370 W. First Street, Dayton, OH 45459.
