It is with heavy hearts that we announce Vince "Vinny" Edward Diano went to be with the Lord. A kind soul, Vinny, as he was lovingly known, touched the lives of many with his unwavering generosity and genuine spirit. Born on March 14, 1994, Vinny's unexpected departure from this world occurred on June 3, 2024. A compassionate and dedicated individual, Vinny made an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Following his graduation from Kettering Fairmont High School in 2012 and subsequent completion of his Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Scripps College, Vinny's unwavering kindness and selflessness defined his existence. His commitment to serving others led him to a fulfilling career as a Registered Behavior Technician at Hopebridge Autism Therapy Center in Tempe, AZ, where he dedicated himself to helping autistic children thrive.
A lover of nature and steward of the environment, Vinny found solace in the great outdoors. Vinny tirelessly worked to protect both people and animals, a testament to his deep love for all living beings. He enjoyed spending time with his fiancé, Stephanie Manriquez, as well as his family and friends, engaging in activities like hiking, biking, and frisbee golf. Vinny's love for instrumental Tycho music, yoga, movies, and being a beacon of warmth in his community further exemplified his kind and gentle spirit.
Vinny's legacy will be carried on by his beloved fiancé, Stephanie Manriquez, father Michael Diano, mother Jeannine Diano, and brother Lance Michael Diano. He will be dearly missed by his grandparents, Christal and Edward Diano, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were deeply touched by his presence. Vinny was preceded in his transition to heaven by his grandparents, Jack and Phyllis Miller; his great Omi, Gertrude Vögeli; his great-grandfather, Anthony Diano, and his cousin, Rebecca Marie Phillips.
A memorial service to celebrate Vinny's life will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Routsong Funeral Home, Kettering starting at 1 p.m. A post-service gathering will follow from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., where friends and family are invited to share memories and honor his legacy. As Vinny was a man of simplicity, casual attire is encouraged, with the option to wear something in his favorite color, royal blue.
In honor of Vinny's altruistic spirit and love for humanity, his legacy of kindness and compassion will forever resonate in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in eternal peace, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the lives he so profoundly impacted.
In lieu of flowers, Vinny's family requests that you donate to the Autism Society of Dayton. Cards of sympathy are welcomed, as well.
