Vincent Alan Crain

CRAIN, Vincent Alan, age 61, formerly of Kettering, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.

He was a graduate of the first graduating class of Kenton Ridge High School in Springfield, Ohio in 1978.

Vince has always had a love for music and his family.

He has been playing musical instruments since he was very young and has been in bands since he was 8 years old.

In 1982, he joined the Air Force and served for 9 years and 10 mos. His position at the time of his honorable discharge, was the title of Security Supervisor.

After serving our country, he held many positions in many fields but the one position he held continuously was musician.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Saundra Stewart Crain and his father, James R. Crain.

He is survived by his mother, Suzanne Crain Keller; brother, Mark (Patricia) Crain; sister, Victoria (Larry)Perks; daughter, Elisabeth (Allen) Knick; son, Michael Crain; 4 granddaughters, Savannah, Sierra, Lilli, and Rory; numerous nieces and nephews, and many many friends and fellow musicians.

Memorial Services will be held 5:30pm on Monday, May 17 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E STROOP RD, KETTERING. Family will greet friends one hour prior and following service for a reception at the funeral home. Fond memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.routsong.com.
