Virginia "Jean" Woods

WOODS, “Jean” Virginia, age 83 of Centerville, formerly of Dayton, passed away on October 13, 2020, at St. Leonard Nursing Home.

Jean was a 1956 graduate of Western Local High School. She was an active member of the Centerville Christian Fellowship Church and past member of the Ohio Eastern Star #577.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Sarah Ballard; loving husband of 49 years, Paul Woods; brothers, Bill (Nancy) Ballard and Donald (Barbara) Ballard. She is survived by her son, Danny (Cheryl) Woods of Kettering; grandson, Bryan (Brandee) Woods; great-grandson, Cayden Woods; sister, Retha Boyd, and many nieces and nephews.

Family will greet friends from 10:00am-11:00am Saturday, October 17 at Centerville Christian Fellowship, 700 E. Spring Valley Pike, Dayton, OH 45458, with a Funeral Service at 11:00am. Burial in David’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Miami Valley Chapter, The Laurelwood, 3797 Summit Glen Drive., Ste. 100 Dayton, OH 45449.
