Virginia L. Wilson

WILSON, Virginia L, age 88 of Bellbrook, OH, passed away Saturday, March 05, 2022. She was born May 21, 1933 in Jay City, IN.

She is survived by her two daughters Sandra and Melissa. Virginia has five grandchildren, Rachel (Andrew), Sarah, Kristen, Melissa and Timmy. She has nine great grandchildren, Jacqueline, Aaron, Scarlett, Andrew, Joseph, Liam, Caroline, Samuel and Lincoln. She is also survived by her brother Ronnie Laux. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Roy, mother and father, Helen and Eugene Laux and one brother Robert Laux.

After graduating from Julianne Catholic High School in Dayton, OH she started working at Delco Moraine for most of her early years until she started having children. Then she stayed home to raise her two girls; and later went back to work caring for the elderly as an STNA, a job she loved. Throughout her life, she always loved working in her beautiful garden. She also loved to read; often finishing books in one day. Her greatest joy came from caring for her grandchildren and attending many swim meets, gymnastic practices, soccer games, baseball and basketball games. Virginia had a great sense of humor and had the best “one liner” jokes. She also loved to travel and was able to “stick her toes in the ocean one last time” this past June.
