Virginia Oda Jenkins

JENKINS, Virginia, age 84, of Beavercreek, OH, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018. Virginia was born on January 30, 1934 in Wengerlawn, OH to Charles and Alice Oda.

She graduated from Verona High School in Verona, OH and earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Wright State University. Virginia was a member of Rocky Mountain Christian Church in Longmont, CO. She was a retired school teacher who loved children, travel and doll houses. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Keith Jenkins; 1 sister; 3 brothers. She is survived by children, Susan (Neil) Nelson of Austin, TX, Joyce Johnson of Kettering, OH; grandchildren, Jacob Nelson of the Netherlands and Glenna Nelson of Peoria, IL, David (Jennifer) Cales of Beavercreek, OH, Henry Johnson of Centerville, OH; great-grandchildren, Jessica and David Cales; sister, Ellen Swank of Longmont, CO.

Family will greet friends from 10-11am on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St, Centerville. A Memorial Service will take place at 11am at the funeral home. Family will also greet friends following the service until 1pm.
