FULTZ, Walter E. age 87, formerly of Centerville and Wilmington, OH died Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at Pleasant Hill Manor in Piketon, OH. Walter was born March 12, 1918 in Newberry, MI, son of the late Chester and Effie ( nee Dummitt) Fultz. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Nora A. Fultz (nee Peed) and a sister, Hazel Gambill. He is survived by son, Ronald (Deborah) and one grandson, Robert, all of Lucasville, OH. Also surviving are, one sister, Essie Harris of Dayton, OH and one brother, Milford Fultz of Germantown, OH and several nieces and nephews. Walter was retired from the NCR Corporation in Dayton, OH and a World War II US Army veteran serving in the South Pacific Theatre and receiving two Purple Hearts. He was a member of the Centerville Church of Christ and the DAV. The family will greet friends on Saturday, December 17 from 11-1:00PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville chapel. There will be a funeral service at 1:00PM also at the funeral home with Brad Poe officiating with a burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens immediately following the funeral. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Miami Valley Chapter, Laurelwood, 3797 Summit Glen Drive, Suite 100, Dayton, OH 45449.
