VOGT, Warren & Gladys, ages 83 & 88 of Miamisburg, went home with the Lord on Friday March 22, 2002. Warren was born July 2, 1918 in Versailles, MO. In 1936 he was the Missouri State Track Champion in the 880 yard run. He was retired from Chrysler Airtemp and also from his restaurant in Osage Beach, MO. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II who served in Europe. Gladys Vogt, devoted wife of Warren, was born March 12, 1914 in West Liberty, KY. She was a graduate of Miami University and a retired elementary teacher from Radcliff Elementary School in Jefferson TWP. She was also the first civilian female naval inspector in World War II. They are survived by a son, Bob Vogt; daughter Dr. Sharon DiGiacomo and husband Doug;grandsons, Justin, Ryan and Jordan; 12 nieces and nephews and their families. They will be greatly missed by their family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 28, at 11:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St. Centerville, officiated by Pastors Vernon B. Collins and Sally Beatrice Collins.Family will receive friends from 5-8:00 PM Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at the funeral home.
