Willetta Noble formerly of West Carrollton, passed away unexpectedly 9 Jan 2025, just shy of her 80th birthday. She was the only child of the late Effie and Willie Noble. Willetta worked in Human Resources for NCR for many years, but in her private time she taught English to immigrants, loved to attend plays and various events in the arts and was very active in her church, St Paul United Methodist, and Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Throughout her life, she loved reading, writing poetry and hearing from friends.
Willetta is survived by her cousin Lois Fraley, and many dear friends. Especially missing Willetta will be her best friends of many years Mary Lou and Chuck Farmer (“Bro”, to Willetta), and friends Marja Weaver and Eilanna Price who watched over Willetta her final years at Beavercreek Health and Rehab (BHR).
Willetta appreciated the care she received at BHR and loved to talk with the nurses, aides, Zoom ladies, and other staff. A special thanks to Nurse Sheryl S. who was there the day Willetta arrived and the day she left. Sheryl spent many days with her during the 5 plus years she resided at BHR.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at St Paul United Methodist Church, 101 Huffman Avenue, Dayton on 15 January 2025 at 2:00 pm.
Contributions may be made in Willetta’s honor to St Paul United Methodist Church.
