FORD, William H., age 85 of Cridersville, formerly of Dayton, died Tuesday, October 1, 2002. Mr. Ford had been a resident of Otterbein Retirement Community in Cridersville for the past five years. He was an avid Ohio State University Fan, a member of the George L. Marshall Lodge, AASR, member of the Aviation Trail and a long time member of the Christian Science Church on Sawmill and Rubicon Rd. in Dayton. William was preceded in death by his wife, Alma L. Ford in November 2001. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Kathleen Ford of Lima; 2 grandsons, Nathan and James Ford of Columbus; a sister-in-law, Suzanne Ford of Bellbrook; a brother-in-law, Jack E. Anewalt of Kettering; a sister, Yvonne Ford of Dayton; 4 nieces, Judy Kavalunas of Bellbrook, Donna Faber of Franklin, Christine Nutter of Dayton, and Julie Anewalt of Centerville; and 3 nephews, Charles Ford of Kettering, William Smith of Minneapolis, MN, and James Anewalt of Chicago. There will be a private family memorial service with Rev. John Weitlauf officiating. If desired, contributions may be made to the First Church of Christian Science, 105 Sawmill Rd., Oakwood, OH 45409. The family is being served by Routsong Funeral Home.
