age 75 of Centerville, died Monday, July 16, 2001. He was a graduate of Miamisburg High School and Miami University and retired from NCR. William was also a WWII Army Air Corps veteran, former Coast Guard Auxiliary member, and a former Special Agent with the FBI. He was Centerville Volunteer of the Year in 1998, headed the Myasthenia Gravis Local Support Group and was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church and the Centerville VFW. Preceded in death by his parents Herman ''Jimmy'' and Mary Shade and a daughter, Lynne. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Arlene; a son, Carl and his wife Sharon; three daughters, Kaye Carmona and her husband, Fred, Ann Chenault and her husband Robert, and Laura Akers and her husband Brian; nine grandchildren, Steve and Lisa Shade, Tyler and Madeline Chenault, Emily, Josh, Cody, Ashlyn and Morgan Akers. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 6430 Far Hills Ave., Centerville with Pastor Fritz Wiese officiating. Burial in Hillgrove Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Ohio Valley Affiliate, P.O. Box 182039, Dept. 013, Columbus, Ohio 43218-2039 or the Ohio Chapter Myasthenia Gravis Foundation, 2907 Lincoln Way East, Unit B, Massillon, Ohio 44646.
