William H. Shade

age 75 of Centerville, died Monday, July 16, 2001. He was a graduate of Miamisburg High School and Miami University and retired from NCR. William was also a WWII Army Air Corps veteran, former Coast Guard Auxiliary member, and a former Special Agent with the FBI. He was Centerville Volunteer of the Year in 1998, headed the Myasthenia Gravis Local Support Group and was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church and the Centerville VFW. Preceded in death by his parents Herman ''Jimmy'' and Mary Shade and a daughter, Lynne. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Arlene; a son, Carl and his wife Sharon; three daughters, Kaye Carmona and her husband, Fred, Ann Chenault and her husband Robert, and Laura Akers and her husband Brian; nine grandchildren, Steve and Lisa Shade, Tyler and Madeline Chenault, Emily, Josh, Cody, Ashlyn and Morgan Akers. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 6430 Far Hills Ave., Centerville with Pastor Fritz Wiese officiating. Burial in Hillgrove Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville.
