LINK, William Joseph "Bill", age 65, of Kettering passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2012.
Bill was a 1964 graduate of Chaminade High School and later graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1969. He worked in the sales department at Delphi for 38 years. Bill attended St. Charles Catholic Church for 37 years. His faith was very important to him and he remained active in many of his church functions.
Bill was a committed family man who enjoyed sharing his wonderful sense of humor. He loved to coach, play and watch sports. Bill played softball through college up until he was fifty years old and enjoyed watching Bengals and Reds games. He truly enjoyed Sunday morning donut dates with his grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Loretta Link; and sister, Virginia Link. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Connie; children, Brian (Laurel) Link, Gregory Link, and Jennifer Link; grandchildren, Alison, Reagan, and Jack Link; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family will greet friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in Bill's name may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Dayton, 1133 Edwin C. Moses Blvd., Suite 308, Dayton, OH 45417. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Oak Creek Terrace for all of their help.
