William Maurice Matthew

MATTHEW, William Maurice, age 80, of Huber Heights passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012. William served in the United States Air Force until his retirement and was a life member of VFW Post #3283 Huber Heights and Vietnam Veteran of America Miami Valley Chapter 97. He liked to trap shoot in his spare time. Preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Mildred Matthew, and grandson, Christopher S. Matthew. He is survived by his loving wife, Kimiko Matthew, sons, Steven K. (Phyllis) Matthew of Dunlap, IL and David M. Matthew of Dayton, OH, daughters, Pamela A. (Robert) Simon of Vandalia, OH and Kim D. Hester of Huber Heights, OH, sister, Patricia Reese of Dallastown, PA, 8 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Family will greet friends from 11:00am-1:00pm on Monday, December 31, 2012 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A graveside service will take place following the visitation at 2:00pm at Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 West Third Street, Dayton.
