William Stephen Sekely

SEKELY, William Stephen "Bill", age 67 of Centerville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 4, 2011. Formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, Bill received his BS in Chemistry from Allegheny College, his MBA from Case Western University and his Doctorate in Business Administration from Kent State University. He retired as Professor Emeritus from the University of Dayton School of Business in 2010 where he was director of International Programs in Business and served as chair of the Marketing and Management department for many years. Bill was a fun loving and devoted family man who adored his grandchildren. He enjoyed cooking, traveling and playing golf and was a volunteer at Yankee Trace Golf Course. Preceded in death by his father, Stephen Sekely. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Bonnie; daughters Kristin (Kevin) Knight and Stacy (Riccardo Monaco) Sekely; grandchildren, Joshua and Michael Knight and Livia Monaco; brother, Stephen (Kathie) Sekely and their children, Christopher and Patrick; and his mother, Rose Sekely. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 2:00PM at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with a reception to follow until 5:00PM.
