William Thomas Kunas

KUNAS, William Thomas, age 80, of Centerville passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Tom was born on November 28, 1933, in Chicago, IL. He served in the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Remey from 1952 to 1956. Tom received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and his MBA from Xavier University. Tom worked as a heating and air-conditioning engineer for the company that he owned, ThermOhio Inc. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judith; children, Karl (Diane) Kunas, Suzanne (Greg) Borgen, and Kurt Kunas; and grandchildren, Tara and Sam Smiley. Family will receive guests on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 2:00-4:00pm with a memorial service immediately following at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main Street, Centerville. In memory of Tom, donations may be made to Hithergreen Center, 5900 Hithergreen Drive, Dayton, OH 45429.
