WOLFE, William V., age 83, of Centerville died Tuesday, June 20, 2006. He graduated from Clay Township High School in 1941 and was married to Mildred Eileen Holcomb. They moved to Baltimore, Maryland where he worked as a Shipfitter, First Class. He joined the United States Navy where he served as an Electrician’s Mate during World War II. After the war, he was employed as a Final Inspector at NCR Corporation where he worked for thirty-two years. He was an elected representative of the local Independent Electrician’s Union. Bill was a member of Prince of Peace Church of the Brethren where he served on the Property Committee. He was also a member of American Legion Post #0622. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Pearl Wolfe and his sister, Virginia. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mildred Wolfe; son, Dean E. Wolfe, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Kansas, daughter-in-law, Ellen Frantz-Wolfe and grandson, William J. Wolfe of Lawrence, KS. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 9:00 AM at Prince of Peace Church of the Brethren, Kettering. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM, The Reverend Larry Tyner officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Garden in Wheelersburg, OH. Memorial contributions may be sent to Prince of Peace Church of the Brethren, 800 East David Rd., Kettering, OH 45429 .
